OUR STORY
Wend Hollow is a women-owned, artist-led studio devoted to the slow craft of handmade tools, ritual objects, and sculptural forms rooted in care, history, and resistance.
Founded by artist and maker Erica Fitzgerald, Wend Hollow honors the ancestral labor of women through the creation of brooms, brushes, spoons, baskets, and vessels—all made by hand, with intention, slowness, and love.
Drawing from a deep background in sculpture and textile fine art, Erica’s practice lives at the intersection of fine craft and feminist storytelling. Her work is grounded in themes of women’s labor, ecological cycles, bodily autonomy, and ancestral memory. In both art and everyday objects, she seeks to reclaim forms of domestic and “slow” craft—like broom-making, weaving, and carving—as acts of power, reverence, and connection.
At Wend Hollow, every broom is more than a broom. Every basket is more than a basket. These are tools for witches, dreamers, and caretakers—objects imbued with story, shaped slowly by hand, and built to last.
From the natural materials to the sculptural details, nothing is rushed or outsourced. Each piece is touched into being through time-honored methods, shaped by a deep respect for both material and ritual. Whether you are sweeping a floor, preparing a meal, or tending a sacred space, Wend Hollow offers objects that reconnect you to the ancient, the embodied, and the handmade.
We believe in making with care, living with intention, and honoring the quiet power of craft.
